how long should I use flashcards for a toddler?

My baby is 19 months old and doesn't say any words. I recently bought color flashcards and numbers. &im; wondering how many times a day and how long should I practice with her? any other mom's use flashcards? any tips would be appreciated

Hi,
I started doing flashcards, sight words, parts of words, numbers, and abc's with my son when he was 13 months old. When he was 13 months he couldn't really talk but he understood a lot of words by pointing. I start doing flash cards because I thought his speech may have been off.
At 18 months he start singing the abc's and recognizing sight words on food labels, outside, at the store etc. Right before his 2nd birthday he was reading small sentences and talking small phrases and counting to 30. 
He is now 3 y/o, reading complete sentences on a third grade level, and talking complete sentences. I stopped using flash cards when he was about 2 1/2 y/o. He doesn't watch tv that much but when he does I make sure the caption is on for him.

do it as long as it interests you LO. I did flash cards with my stepdaughter starting when she was around 2 and sometimes we'd do it for only 5 mins and sometimes up to an hour. She has a learning disability but is way ahead in reading than kids her age. it really does help them in the long run.

My daughter is 26 months and we got her those books that are kinda like flash cards. She only knows about 6-7 of them out of 100 and can’t count to 5 or say the ABC’s yet but it’s a slow process. She typically reads the book 2-3 times a day for maybe 15 minutes each of so
