Mini crib for a almost 1 year old?

Question

Does anyone have a mini crib and know if it would be good for a almost 1 year old? She new bed but deff isn’t ready for a toddler bed yet but can climb out of a play pen.. I think if I put a crib as low as it will go then she won’t be able to get out of it..
Her room is small and wouldn’t leave much room for a full crib. She sleeps in our room right now but need something I can let her sleep in and walk into another room and know she won’t fall out of..

We have a mini crib in our room for our May baby.  My 15 month old has been in it several times as our tester.  They start to slow down in growth around this age.  She only grew one inch in 3 months and is in the 96th percentile.  So I definitely feel she could sleep in the mini crib until she was ready for a toddler bed.

Have you looked at the cribs from ikea, they looks a bit smaller/neater than the huge cribs I have seen pictures of on here. Also they can be made to a toddler bed when it’s time for that.

It really depends on the kid. Some can climb well early and need to transition into a bed sooner. The toddler bed I used at first was one of the ikea cribs that transitioned. My son was between 1.5-2. Now we have him in a bunk bed and my 1.5yr old daughter sleeps on a mattress under. It’s really not to bad to transition. As for space you can look into smaller toddler beds or even a small mattress on the floor.
