Crushing on a girl

Recently I expressed something to one of my oldest friends that I’d never told anyone or really come to accept before. I told her that I have a crush on a girl and that I have for nearly 3 years. I used to identify as straight, but now I’m not sure what I identify as. One of my best friends is bi and it was incredible telling her because her response was truly overwhelming. Her exact words to me were “babe, that just means you’re a human being!”

I go to school with this girl I like and even though we’re friends we don’t talk/hang out too much. I don’t know her sexuality; it’s just never something I’ve wondered about - until now at least.

I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how I want to identify.
