Should I be concerned? Dog question

My puppy 8 months just got out of being in heat and now her nipples are hard and swollen 😰 is this normal? I tried looking it up online couldn’t find to much about it , she is getting spayed at one year, it what we have been recommended to do because she is a large breed we were told that it’s best for her joints to wait... I am for spaying and neutering animals. She is  not being bred nor did she go to the dog park or get to really leave the house during her heat cycle.

Dogs that are not spayed put themselves through false pregnancies more often than not if they are not being actively bred. It’s very bad for them to do so and if they go through them enough to contract uterine infections it could potential kill them. Please spray or neuter your animal... no reason not too... it benefits her greatly and there are so Many unwanted animals in a shelter

have her checked out if your concerned. I'd also wait to spay her till she's fully grown, it can cause problems spaying as a growing pup but most vets don't tell you what can happen until they've done it. it'll be 3mths till she can be done but if she's still having problems take her to check her nipples out.
