Doc is making me feel crazyyyyy

Just after some advice — got this result and went to the doctor and she said “no that is a negative result” and did not proceed to tell me why. I got a blood test and she said that came back at 4hcg and said any higher she’d consider positive and get me in 48 hours later to Repeat etc. She Then told me to start taking Elevit.... confuuuused!! Should I just wait til af is late by 1 week? This test was 2 days late and have had a few results like this
