Moving in together

Im 18 years old, my boyfriend of 6 years you can say lol is 19 years old. Im a senior in high school and will be attending college in spring of 2019. He just recently got a new job which we prayed to happen, meanwhile im in the process of doing applications. I have 3 hustles where i can get side money such as selling my paintings, doing hair and makeup. I’ve been looking up apartments because i feel were ready to get our own place. We both have each-other back 100% , and are willing to go half on the rent. With me going to college i dont wanna live on campus and i dont wanna live home, i really wanna have my own spot along with my freedom as a young adult. Everybody know grandma house has rules so having my own means having my own personal business. I just wanna know would it be best to wait or follow our first mind.
