Had my 20 week/anatomy scan this past week, but I was only 18w 5 days at the time. The perinatologist told me at my NIPT screening that I’d most likely only see him again for my 20 week anatomy scan. Well, he did our scan & said everything looks healthy but at the end of the appt said to come back in 12 weeks for a growth scan. Is this because we opted for the additional screening (NIPT & 20 week scans) or is it possible he wants to watch me more closely? Don’t they have to tell you if something is off/worrisome? Bc he didn’t. But I’m reading a lot that growth scans are usually only ordered if something is off/mom has GD. Opinions please!
