Why is it that most baby/kids products are marketed towards moms? Why not market products towards “parents.” It’s like society still believes that men are deadbeat absentee fathers.

My husband pointed this out 4 years ago when we had our first and products still mostly advertise towards moms. Baby Center addresses moms (though they do have a dads corner), Moms bliss gripe water, there have been tons of toys that say “fun for babies and moms!”

My rant is that in this day in age me are becoming less hands off and more involved in parenting it’s appalling that companies still just pander to women.

I know many women (including myself) that are the primary bread winners while the husbands stay at home.

I know overall it really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.
