Hospital Stay?.

Question

For ‘Normal healthy deliveries’ 
•How long did you have to stay in the hospital for a vaginal birth?
•How long did you have to stay after a c-section?
I’m curious to know as I’m due in July & I’m getting a bit anxious.. 😩 I honestly don’t want to have to stay.. I know I will but I really don’t want too 😭

Vaginal birth, no complications, had to stay for 24 hours after birth.
Checked in 1pm Saturday after water broke at home.
Had baby vaginally 5am Sunday.
Checked out 11am Monday.

in Norway you go to a "postpartum hotel" that's staffed with midwives after the birth if there were no complications. you usually stay 3 nights there. I loved it! no need to cook, midwives around whenever you have questions (even the middle of the night), and comfy rooms.

But with my first they let me stay 4 days.

I had a natural birth in a midwife center at 12:45pm and was home the same day with the baby at 5 pm. 😎

I had a vaginal birth no complications. Had my daughter at noon left the next day at noon. I had to keep asking them to let me leave lol. They kept saying I can’t believe you’re up and walking already. They wouldn’t stop waking me up, pretty much why i wanted to go home

Vaginal and we went home about 30 hours after delivery. We were in the hospital for four days overall though

Vaginal birth, stayed 2 nights and 3 days. Had low platelets/hemoglobin so had to stay that long. Needed to make sure I was getting my levels up before leaving the hospital since I was a fall risk. And probably a slight bleeding risk as well.
