May babies turning into April babies?

I'm hoping my boy will stay in until May. Husband's family has like 7 April birthdays to celebrate and acknowledge... it's weird of me to say, but I don't want him sharing a bday in april, I want him to have his own day in May. 
but my contractions are more frequent and I'm already dialated and a little more than 50% effaced. so we will see.
