How long till i miscarry naturally?

I’m supposed to be 10 weeks today. Baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. Yesterday on U/S they didn’t find baby this time and only yolk sac. Had some cramps on and off but NO bleeding. Will my body begin this process or not? I have d & c scheduled in 8 days.

I've had two blighted ovums that took about 4 months each to pass naturally. It's kind of a pain to wait, emotionally. I'm pregnant again and not sure it looks promising. Already told my DH that I want a DNC if not a viable pregnancy this time. My body is super slow to respond and realize it's not pregnant any more but it seems like most people have it within a couple weeks of being diagnosed.

I am so so sorry for your loss. January 30th I had my first ultrasound at 11 weeks and 1 day. I was measuring at only 6 weeks and they only saw an enlarged yolk sac. January 29th I started light spotting. But the night of the 30th I started cramping and bleeding. On the 31st my miscarriage ended. I had a D&C; scheduled that week but for some reason I was meant to do it on my own at home. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers 💙

It all depends, it is different for everyone. I found out at 8 weeks that my baby stopped growing only 2 days before. I miscarried naturally less than 48 hours after the doctors told me.

I found out the baby stoped growing at 6 weeks at my almost 9 week appt. I didn’t miscarry until a few days before 11 weeks. Listen to your doctor, but I’m so glad I was able to miscarry naturally and didn’t have to have the surgery.

it depends...my body hasn't ever miscarried naturally and I've needed the d&c; both times. but who knows it may happen before your scheduled surgery!

it depends. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. but when it takes so long, it is probably attached real good and you'll want that d&c; to clear it all out. I had 4 early losses and the first 2 I passed naturally, the 3rd I had to do d&c; cause it had been over a month and they just couldn't let me wait any longer. the 4th I took a pill to speed up the process.
