I'm not due until November, but even before we started trying I knew I wanted to go through the Local Birth Center. So far everything has been amazing. I have been worries I won't be able to breast feed, as I don't have a lot of under boob, but they have instilled confidence in me with only two visits so far. They have a super low emergency C-section rate (like 2 -3 %). All the midwives and staff are phenomenal. Only part I worry about is they discharge you within 4-6 hours after delivery of the baby. With my first child I left the hospital after about a day and a half, but taking home a 4-6 hour old baby is kinda intimidating. Have any of you ladies taken baby home that early? Can ya let me know your experiences?
