Male Best Friends

I have a guy best friend, we’ve been friends for a while now with no issue. He broke up with his girlfriend and for some reason our friendship started getting complicated! He started expressing feelings towards me originally it threw me off cause we’re just friends as time goes on, I think about it more I’m like ok yeah I kinda do have feelings for you. We talk about and I think everything’s going great for us maybe trying to date. Then he flips the script he doesn’t want to date anymore he wants to explore his new freedom. So I put my feelings to the side we try friends again. A couple days ago were talking he says he doesn’t want to be with other women. I’m just so confused cause he said he wanted to explore his freedom. The yesterday he tells me he possibly loves me. I’m just so done! I don’t know what to honk or how to feel men are so confusing. I’m tired of thinking about this cause I feel like I’m spinning in circles 🤦🏾‍♀️
