Is it normal for my husband to masturbate?

Lately I've been feeling sick with my Epilepsy and stomach problems etc... Yet still I please my man with everything he needs. Although recently I found out he started masturbating while showering in the morning. Not sure how long it's been going on but when I found out it hurt me really bad. Like wtf am I doing wrong?! I understand a man has need but I'm literally in the other room, same bed, same damn house. Am I missing something?!! If we didn't sew each other everyday and didn't live together then ok I see that being normal. I hesitated to confront him because he usually denies anyway. But I did and I let him know how it made me feel and what I could do better and what I'm doing wrong? This man would go crazy over the way I please him in bed. Now his hand over the V really?! When I confronted him he got so pissed off and told me it's none of my damn business and he doesn't know why it hurts me so bad when there's no reason to be hurt. . That just hurt me 1000 times more.
