Postpartum waist trimmer after C-section

Is it safe to use a postpartum waist trimmer/girdle after having a c section?

I purchased one because i was planning on a vaginal birth, but ended up with an emergency c section.

How long should i wait to wear it? I’m one week PP now and my incision is not hurting as much now. I plan to wear it loosely over clothing so it’s not on top of my incision.

Anyone else use one and have a good experience?
