Labour

So I’ve seen a lot about labour pains being like period pains which are normally quite low but I’m 37+5 and have been having what feels like normal tummy ache...like a pain in the centre of my stomach and then stops for an hour and comes back, has anyone experienced this before? I also have been having like an ache in my vagina I don’t know wether to call it a pain, I know confusing but just wanted to know if anyone else feels like this or did Just before they went into labour?
