Unfortunately this type of IUD is my one and ONLY available birth control method due to the fact that I cannot tolerate hormonal methods.

Insertion was painful and just straight weird feeling but periods and cramping each month afterwards have been hell. I’ve had it for going on two years and while both have gotten slightly better, it’s still rather debilitating.

Just curious if anyone else out there is in a similar situation and what your experience with it has been/methods you’ve discovered for lessening the pain!
