belly button..is this normal?

I'm a FTM and wanted some opinions.. my daughter is 3 weeks, and lost her umbilical cord stump back on April 10 when she was 8 days old. Doc saw her for her 2 week appt on the 16th and I told her the belly button was still bleeding a bit. She looked at it and said it looked normal and bleeding would stop eventually...but it still hasn't. Doc told me to wipe any dried blood off during diaper changes and wash at bath times, which I've been doing. Her next appt is in a week. It's now been 16 days since it fell off and I'm still seeing bits of dried blood..

Should I be concerned? has anyone else had this happen with their baby?
