Car, legal help??

Okay so, gosh this is gonna be long. So you know that guy in the ally that is drunk all the time and he makes sketchy deals and sells pot..Ya so that is my SOs dad. And for some fucking stupid reason we trusted him. You need the picture of him to kinda understand my hesitancy here and why I'm afraid to move forward. So about a month ago my car shit the bed. It wasn't worth the cost of fixing it and we needed it towed away and sold for scraps. Well, his dad calls us and says his neighbor likes to fix broken cars he wants the car. This was convenient for us because it only needed to go down the road. So he gave us 200 bucks and said we would switch the title sometime in the future. A description of this guy I feel like is needed to, so here we go. He has no teeth, and doesn't have a job and his girlfriend has face tattoos and 5 different hearts on her arm with blotted out ink and her current boyfriend's name in one of the hearts *Facepalm* But who am I to say anything, we live next to the country so some folks can look rough. Anyways, we made a a couple attempts at contacting my SOs father to discuss transfer details, and then last minute he calls and says that this guy wants me to just sign the back of the title and write "Junk" on it??? And then HE (Guy who i sold the car to) is going to sell it to a dealer? and then the dealer will change the title? But they also want a copy of my photo ID?? And it isn't possible to meet them at a dealership because the car no longer runs so I'm basically supposed to just trust this guy? Like what if they decide to sell drugs pout ofmy car or something crazy. Help, ask your husband's or something what am I gonna do??? Ugh what a mess, yes I'm an idiot I know this.
