Can't feel baby moving?

I'm 18 weeks and I started feeling flutters a lot a couple weeks ago but the past few days I haven't felt any. I check the baby's heartbeat everyday and the heartbeats normal.. should I be worried? Could I have been feeling something else?

I wouldn't be worried about it. Babies don't fall into a pattern of movement until you're like 28 weeks along. That's why doctors recommend you start tracking movements then. I had some of that happen too, where I felt like I was feeling her less, when I was around 20 weeks, and it scared me. 35 weeks tomorrow and she's still healthy and active ☺

I called my dr at 18 weeks and asked the same thing. they said as long as his heart rate is normal not to worry that the er or l&d; would have used the doppler and if his heart rate was normal send me home. so she had me check at home and time it and said not to worry.

Baby's don't have a consistent movement at that point. You should be concerned if your 28+ without movement. Baby still has lots of room and can flip to the back where you can't feel them.

Don’t worry. Mine wasn’t all that active until I was 20-21 weeks.
