Stopping BC-experiences?

Hi ladies! Just quit my pill and officially TTC! I’m curious, what was your experience like from coming off the pill? My side effects from the pill sucked so I’m very optimistic about quitting them!

I came off the pill in January. Period cramps increased significantly but diminished over the next few months. They’re worse than when I was on the pill but aren’t too bad. I start cramping before ovulation too, which I never felt before. My periods haven’t been much heavier than they were before and they still only last 3 days.

I just stopped taking mine at the beginning of April too. My sex drive has been higher (bonus) but my period was horrible. Worse than I remembered before BC. I think it’s because BC really masked the pain of cramps and stuff so being off of it made it worse. Other than that, my experience has been pretty good. Period returned when I thought it would.
