My s/o and I fighting and he left me on read for 15 minutes and ended it by saying “I’m going to bed now goodnight I love you” and idk if I should just send “goodnight” or not respond at all

Even if we’re fighting. Or if we are both pissed af. We will still say I love you. Cause if you don’t love him if you guys are fighting then do you actually love him ? It’s suppose to be through thick and thin.

We say I love you even when angry and fighting. I think it helps where even though you might be angry or upset, you do still love them and will eventually get over it.
