Pansexuality?

Will you help me understand?? I've been told that pansexuality is when you like anyone regardless of gender. I'm getting this confused with bisexuality. Unless bisexuality is when people who are attracted to people that act/dressed of their assigned gender and pansexual means they're open to people that act/dressed as their assigned gender AND transsexuals as well? I'm sorry if this is offensive, I'm genuinely curious about what it means.

As the pan saying goes “hearts not parts” some people say pansexual people are gender blind. Bisexuality is where you have feelings for male and female individuals where pansexual you is where you may find attraction to any gender like non binary agender trans androgynous Demi intersex third gender gender fluid etc! Hope this helps! Ps in pan and no we don’t have sex with kitchen utensils like some people think!

Pansexual = attraction to all genders/attraction regardless of gender
Bisexual = attraction to two /or more/ genders (note: those two don't necessarily have to be the same and opposite gender; it's possible to ve attracted to, for example, the opposite gender/sex and nonbinary people)
(Another note: The above definition of bisexuality is the one that the bi community as a whole has been using for a while)

Bisexual means you are attracted to men with penises and women with vaginas or cis men and women, usually in line with your sexuality like if you’re a bisexual woman you can be attracted to both straight cis men and bisexual women as well as lesbian women (straight women too if you’re attracted to being turns down a lot, just a joke lol). 
Pansexual means you are/can be attracted to all kinds of people regardless of their sexuality; for example cis men, cis women, trans men, trans women, people with no gender, people with multiple genders, people with non-conforming genders, people with no gender, straight people, gay /lesbian people, bisexual people, asexual, aromantic, bicurious, polisexual, androgynous people, masculine/feminine people, etc. (I tried to list as many as possible to give a good idea but pansexual means anyone you’re attracted to and there are a lot of people out there with individual traits, sexualities, and genders.)
In short, bisexuality by definition is very limiting and though it gives the idea that you are open to most, it can definitely be a label that limits who exactly you may be sexually or romantically gravitating towards. Pansexuality on the other hand gives others the impression and yourself the ability to freely ask yourself at that moment of meeting someone if you can be attracted at that time to them based off who they are as a person instead of what is in their pants, what roles they like to take in sex or life, and the hook ups of their gender identity or sexual identity. As a pansexual person myself, I define it personally in my life as a sort of “I don’t care what you have between your legs or how you define yourself, if I like your personality and you’re cute as hell then I like you” attitude.

From what I understand from my pan and bi friends, bisexuality is an umbrella term to describe people attracted to two or more genders. Pansexuality is a subset of bisexuality and is a term for people attracted to people regardless of gender, the attraction is towards the personality and what gender they are is secondary.

I was confused at first too. I was told it’s when your either a guy that chooses to be a girl for a however long they choose, or if they feel like being a guy for however long. Vise Versa. I’m not entirely sure if how I was told is true
