Clomid advice?

So after a year of trying to conceive naturally, my doctor has prescribed me clomid yesterday. I’ve never took it and this is our first time using any kind of treatment does anyone have any advice about taking this medication? What kind of side effects did you have and how long did it take you to conceive?

I am on my second round of 100mg clomid days 3-7. My first round I had a few symptoms for 2 days, and then nothing. But my first round was unsuccessful in ovulation. My second round I had absolutely no symptoms from clomid, my body reacted well with it I assume. I did use opks this month to track if I ovulate and according to them my fertile window began cd13 and I ovulated cd17. On my cd13 I went in for my ultrasound and my dominant follicle was only measuring at 12mm on my right ovary, my Dr wanted to see it at a 18mm but it had a few days to grow before ovulation so I was not worried to much. I believe in order to ovulate it has to be at 18-24mm, so I believe if I did ovulated it had to be around that size. I go in for my progesterone blood test this coming Monday to confirm ovulation! 🤞🏼🙏🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼 Praying this is my month! Baby dust to you!

use as prescribed by your doctor ay first you will be told to take 50g for next five days if that doesn't work your doctor can tell u to take 100g for the next five days hppe it works all the best.

I took clomid 2 rounds. the first one was days 3-7 and the next cycle was 5-9 and I'm 5w5d today. The only side effect I had was hot flashes that was all. I always ovulate on my own but my Dr wanted to give the eggs a boost lol. good luck!!!!
