Do You Let Your Have Screen Time?

Just curious if you put on movies or shows for your little one? or let them watch your phone? My son was never interested but recently he will look at the TV and be interested.

i do. not everyday but generally when he is just super whiny and i need a break i will let him watch a disney movie or something. it doesnt keep his attention for more than say 20 min max but most od the time thats all i need to recharge my patience. he likes curious george and cars alot lately. lol

I avoided it for as long as possible but my son has recently started taking an interest as well. I try to limit it and make sure we get outside everyday as well to avoid temptation lol

My 8 year old has an iPad and our 19 month old has shown a huge amount of interest in it. When he is really fussy, our 8 year old sits with him with it. He actually knows how to play some games now. He is really good with it. He plays on it for maybe 15 minutes before he gets bored.

My daughter doesn’t get phones but she does enjoy Nick Jr. sometimes. I have 2 babies one year and 5 days apart. There’s no avoiding it in this house.

I let my daughter watch a very select few things. We only started letting her watch tv when she was about 14-15 months. Sometimes I need her to be distracted for a few minutes while I cook and she can’t safely be close. Also prepping for when #2 arrives in October and I need her to be occupied while I’m breastfeeding.
