How far along were you when you started to have morning sickness?

I was fine, then right about the end of 6 weeks, BAM! Hubby and I almost went to the hospital because I couldn't keep anything down, I was getting dehydrated. I'd try to drink a bottle of water, and it would make a reappearance in a matter of 2-5 minutes. Fortunately my regular doctor (who confirmed the pregnancy) had some samples of Diclegis in her office that she gave me. At 18 weeks, it seems to have subsided for the most part. On the other hand, my mom had very little nausea and morning sickness when she was pregnant with me.

I had all-day nausea between 6 weeks and 11 weeks. Then it turned into occasional nausea (before eating) and lasted until 15 weeks. I’m currently 17 weeks and haven’t been nauseous for almost 2 weeks.

I started to get worried when I didn’t get sick around 6 weeks but lo and behold.. it kicked in a week later and it was horrible for about a week. Now I’m almost 8 weeks and this weekend wasn’t that bad for me but do feel nauseated at times. I started to worry myself when my sickness went away this weekend but then later today it came back. So count your lucky stars if you don’t get sick because not everyone does and if you do, it may come and go like mine does. I had a scan at 5w, 6w and will be going in Tuesday at 8w because my fertility clinic is closely monitoring me due to my progesterone levels, so I know my baby is okay, and it’s not a need for concern. it’s just your body handling the hormones in different ways. Hope you don’t get sick!
