Should I get a tattoo!?

Question

I have wanted to get a tattoo forever but everyone has advised me against it, saying that I might end up getting something stupid which I might regret later! 
But I am 23 now and I feel I am mature enough to make the decision. 
I want a tiny tattoo. If you think I should get one, please comment with designs or share your tattoos! Also, what is a good spot to get one?

I have 4 that all mean something! a cross on the back of my neck, got it when I was 16, my mom let me, I got it as a remembrance of my choice to be a Christian when I was 14, one that says "don't worry, be happy" below the crease of my elbow, for my depression, bipolar disorder battle. And my husband and I went to a mental health fundraiser in a nearby town that was doing tattoos and the money went towards local mental health clinics/services, they had a semi colon tattoo option and a 'B-Love", it's just a b with a heart, tattoo option, and were doing a 2 for $60 deal so I got both. everyone thinks I got the B for my husband as we were only engaged at the time and his last name is Braund 😂

It's not other people's decision. I say if you want one, go for it. If by any chance you do regret it, there's ways to get it covered up! My tattoo is not small but I'll share anyways.

You’re not ready yet, you need to come up with something on your own. It doesn’t have to have special meaning to you but it should be something you come up with on your own. After all it’s going on your body, not anyone else’s so it should be your decision and yours alone. My rule when it comes to a tattoo design is I perfect the image of what I want and then I sit on the design for at least a year. I periodically revisit the design and if I still like it I keep it, if I don’t I either tweak what I don’t like or I will trash the idea.
