I have had my ears pierced since I was a kid. The hole is now red and inflamed. It smells bad as well. This has never happened before. What to do?

Do you know what the last piece of jewelry was made of? Cheap materials could’ve caused it to get irritated. For now I recommend rinsing it with a mixture of SEA SALT and water.

clean it properly, don't touch it, put in an earring that's stainless steal or gold (no cheap metals like nickel)

Looks like its rejecting the jewelry try taking it out and letting it close a bit then later putting in a different type of metal ear ring
