Question about dilating and being overdue

Has anyone experienced not (much) being dilated when overdue? I’m 40+5 and 0.5 cm apparently 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t mind going overdue, I still feel comfortable (enough) and I can go up to 42 weeks, so there is some time left. But I really want my water birth and especially not to be induced (due to hypertension I was induced with my first it was awful).

Has someone experienced going from nothing to labour within a week or so? I don’t know what to expect now, and if I need to manage my expectations I would really like to know. Thank you! 😘🙏🏻
