does putting in your first tampon hurt? or does anybody have any tips that i should follow when using my first tampons? and should i put a pad on even when using the tampon?

I started using tampons at aged 15 as the pads were making me feel sick seeing all the blood just smothered everywhere lol! make sure to lift a leg up on the toilet seat while putting one in as it helps to make it more comfortable. xx

My first time using a tampon didn’t hurt and I use super+ tampons. Also I kind of move the tube in & out of my vag because a dry vag means an uncomfortable tampon.

Once your tampon is in you wont need to wear a pad. Start with the mini tampon if you like untill you get used to them they will just need to be changed more regularly depending on your flow. In some countrys you can get tampax which are tampons attached to a tube you just enter it slightly a push the tube which pops the tampon in kind of like a suringe. Probably a bad explaination but i hope you get the jist.

My first time with a tampon did hurt, but I was thirteen. I was on the swim team and you can’t swim with a pad. The tampons don’t hurt anymore (14) but my first week they hurt a lot.

It feels weird at first but it doesn’t hurt. You might be really aware of the fact that it’s in you for a while but once you’re used to it you won’t even feel them. The only time I think it hurts is if you wear them on a light flow day and go to take it out. Just relax when you’re putting it in and you’ll be fine ☺️

Not trying to scare you but this is my experience with my first time using tampons... so I went to the bathroom to change it and I couldn’t get it out and I passed out my bf was knocking in the door but I wasn’t answering and finally I woke up with my head on the counter.  So I do not use tampons very often
