The worst 2 week wait!

So bit of back story, my husband and I started trying for a baby in August although I only had two periods between then and November and none after. I had resounded myself to the fact that it was going to be a long journey as I clearly wasn't ovulating and was referred to gynae to be investigated for PCOS!

But a little miracle happened and I found out I was pregnant on the 5th April. I had been feeling alright but my nipples were shades of dark purple and I had some clear blue veins that were never normally there 🙈 so I tested and bingo! Due to me not having a period since November there was a chance I was about 22 weeks along! (Although I knew I wasn't as I had been testing every few weeks and I had got a positive ovulation test two weeks before I did the pregnancy test which was positive) So I was booked in for an emergency dating scan on the 17th April where they measured me at 5 weeks 4 days. However they were unable to detect a foetus only a yolk sac and no feral pole so I was booked in for a 'viability scan' two weeks later! Fair to say its the worst 2 week wait I've ever had!! I have been making myself feel sick panicking so much that there was not going to be a baby!

But well worth the wait as today I saw my tiny little baby and it's little heart beating away ❤️

I'm so relieved 😌

If anyone wants to have a guess at the gender than feel free! This is an abdominal ultrasound and they actually measured me today at 7 weeks 2 days! Don't know he heart rate or anything else
