Missing a period but on birth control

Has anyone ever missed a period being on birth control? Does anyone know if antibiotics affects your period? I had sex with my boyfriend two weeks ago yesterday I was on the last week of my active pills. We had sex in the morning and I had two teeth pulled that night and started antibiotics. Could that have affected anything? I didn’t get my period this month but also took a test and it was negative. Did this ever happen to anyone?
