Endometriosis

Mary

I have been dealing with severe period cramps for 8 years now. I have what I call a “spell” on the first day of my period. Not every time but I would say at least 5 months out of the year it happens. I cramp so bad I can’t walk. My vision and hearing disappears, I get really weak, turn white as a ghost and almost get to the point of passing out. The only thing I’ve found to help is children’s ibuprofen (weird right?) & when I can finally fall asleep after about 2 hours of going through this, I wake up fine. I’ve told two OBGYNs about this. The most recent one mentioned endometriosis. Does anyone else have similar experiences?
