Have decided to go with an IUD for birth control. I am 31 yrs old and was celibate for 10 years until last summer. I have been using condoms. But have just recently had surgery and can’t risk getting pregnant for 18 months. Because I have never had children, my Gyno thinks that Kyleena would be the best route for me. My question is, has anyone had any issues with this IUD and how accurate is it at preventing pregnancy? Also I have heard rumors that the risk of infertility is far lower than the pill. I have 3 weeks to make my decision and would love some advice. Thank you!
