norethisterone and implanon?!

Quick question with girls who have experienced prolonged periods on implanon-

I had my period for 3 weeks adter getting the implanon in, and my doctor prescribed Primolut N to stop the bleeding (I’m anaemic and the loss of blood was really getting to me) i took it for around 4/5 days and stopped my period for about a week, it’s now coming back again

Before I consult my doctor again i was just wondering if any girls had a similar experience! Did you take the Primolut again when your period came back? Is this safe to do so until it goes away again?

My doctor does not want to remove the implanon as she says to keep it in for 3 months to let my body adjust
