I had my blood sugar levels checked, I don't have pcos, and my thighs are like that (not as dark, but I'm also Scottish and pale as a ghost). it's probably from my thighs rubbing when I walk, could be the same for you. have your blood sugar and checked out for pcos, if negative, it's probably just the rub.

More than likely it is from insulin resistance associated with PCOS. You should definitely have your A1C checked. Best of luck to you!

Likely due to a hormone imbalance of some sort. Could also be rubbing. I would see a doctor to be sure. Is it like this anywhere else? Neck, armpits?

Thank you for posting this. I never heard of this issue but after seeing your post I noticed that I also have some darkening in my inner thighs. Mine is lighter than yours and only right in the leg crease though. I have been trying to get and stay pregnant for 1.5 years though, so I’m definitely going to look into insulin resistance issues (I already know I don’t have PCOS),

It can be a sign of diabetes (but not always) and it also occurs when a woman has pcos. I have it and i have hard skin on the back of my neck as well. It’s embarrassing but I try not to think about it.
