Extended breast feeding?

Question

Is anyone thinking about going over a year? If so, are you a stay at home mom, or will you still leaves bottles at day care, or just nurse in the morning/before bed?

Our LO turned one yesterday, and while I've introduced organic cow's milk for her meals I'm still breastfeeding her. I'm pregnant again but continuing BF'ing her up to the baby's birth in November. I'll be tandem feeding after that if she is still interested.

I’m a stay at home Mom. I let my first self wean and she weaned when she was 2 years and 2 months old. I just let her nurse as she wanted. I plan todo the same with my almost 1 year old.

I’ve given little thought to weaning. I stopped feeding her at night around 7 months because she was waking too many times for me to keep up at work and life.
I am happy breastfeeding. She is happy breastfeeding. So far, we are good.
I have been working on stopping pumping, however. I work in the afternoon/evening and used to pump more often. Now it’s down to 3 times a week and I’m hoping next week I can stop altogether. I hate pumping. Working part time helped make breastfeeding more fun for me.

My son will be a year old a week from today. I think I will begin weaning, but continue night and morning feeds for a bit longer.

I’ll keep pumping religiously until July until we go on vacation and only take my manual and then try to slow down and stop from there. 
I’m not really sure how to stop. Last time the reason my milk supply dried up was because I got pregnant. I want to wait just a couple more months this time before I get pregnant this time though.

I would have breastfed my son until he was 2 but my period dried me up and we were done breastfeeding at 11 months. Ignore the haters, that decision is between you and your LO!

I'll be letting my daughter selfwean. I am a SAHM at the moment, but I do pump, so this would not change if I go back to work. I have my husband's support and belong to a FB group of like minded parents. I don't really see me nursing in public pass age 2 unless my child asked after an injury or was super sick.

My son is 11 months & initially I was gonna stop at one year or at least start weaning, but the closer to one we get, the less sure I am about it. I know I don't want to go all the way to two, or at least that's how I feel now. I'm planning on my son deciding, if he self weans then cool. If not, I guess we will see how I feel as time goes on. I stay at home 5 days A week & work on weekends. We have a ton of stored milk so either way, he's gonna be drinking breast milk for awhile.

I plan on letting her make that decision she will be one on the 17th and I don’t mind her being over one I work and send bottles to daycare my baby loves it so I won’t force her to stop ppl always say dumb stuff like eww no I can’t have a baby still breast feed at 1 n I tell um well its same thing as u letting your 2 year old drink a bottle or pacifier still or your 1 + year old walking around with blanket its a comfort just like those things are for ur child nobody tells u to stop so don’t tell me and every time it shut them right up...
