Breastfeeding

Im really nervous about breastfeeding! I have inverted nipples and my first was born with a lip tie that caused him to latch improperly so it was painful for me (blood blister nips) plus I was having to use a nipple shield (which I know I'll probably need again). I ended up drying up my supply because it just wasn't working for us. I'm due with my second in three weeks and I want to attempt to breastfeed again but I'm hoping things will go more smoothly this time. Any tips or suggestions on breastfeeding i should know in advance that may help me this time? I only made it about 2 weeks last time and I felt like my son had a lot of stomach issues from the formula and it was a lot of trial and error finding a formula that didn't make him feel terrible.
