Stairs exercise at 26 weeks.

Hello ladies, 2 weeks ago I went to the doctor office for a regular check up and realized that I gained 23 pounds already I'm 26 weeks. She recommended me to at least walk 30 min a day. I started walking but this week I started doing stairs since I live upstairs I do 40 min and burn almos 500 cal every time I do it. Is there any danger doing stairs beside slip? Or any recommendations for exercise? Or not to gain to much weight? I was 135 when got prego now I'm 158.

Any help?
