is it true labor? help?

I am 41 weeks pregnant today. I lost part of my mucus plug yesterday morning and the other half this morning. I have been having period like cramps every 3-5 min that last about 30 seconds for the last hour. is this the start of true labor? I was 1 cm dilated on Wednesday (two days ago)

I’d say it probably is. If the contractions are consistent like that there’s a good chance it’s the real deal. Keep timing them. See if they start getting closer and increase in length of each contraction. If so I’d call and go in.

Sounds like labor to me. My doctor recommends going in when they are at least 3-5 minutes apart. Good luck!
