When's everyone going to begin maternity leave?

I'm in the process of deciding when to start mine, thinking of taking 2 weeks annual leave at 36ish weeks and beginning my maternity leave at 38ish weeks which is what I did last time.
 I work as a UK midwife which is hard & stressful at times but only do 25 hours a week as my son is only 2, so I hope to be ok staying on that late. When are you going to take your mat leave and what kind of job do you do?

I’m in America and I’m fortunate to work for a company that will pay me 100% for 12 weeks. I’m due August 18 and am planning on working up until the day I go into labor. Fortunately the company I work for started on remote (working from home) culture so I’m planning on starting to work exclusively from home on August 1. Once I go into labor I’ll come back mid-November.

I’ve booked off the whole of June as Annual leave and by the time my Maternity starts Monday 2nd July I will be 35 + 3 weeks. My little boy starts Primary school in September so it will be nice to spend some quality time with him before the madness starts 😄❤️

Im due august 19th but taking 4 weeks off before baby is due using holiday leave as i had such a rubbish time in the 1st trimester with hypermesis so hoping i can at least get some final me time and enjoy my summer before baby girl arrives ,i have a feeling shell mess with my plans though😂

I am a nurse in the US. I will get what they call 6 weeks (8 weeks if csection) paid, but in reality it’s the first week pto and the last weeks are paid. Then anytime after that is my pto. I’ll be able to take 9 weeks total paid and the last 3 will be unpaid. 
Very sad that I work for a hospital and our maternity leave really sucks.

I don't get maternity leave. i get to work right up until this little girl say it's time or if i get induced. i work for state of utah. so it sucks because i haven't taken a day off for annual for 4 months since my wedding. definitely can say staying home for six weeks is gonna be a blessing lol I am a caregiver from Friday until Tuesday 6-2:30. up at 5 am to be at work.

I'm an occupational therapist in a geriatric rehab facility. I'm on my feet and transferring patients all day. This is my first baby and I'm planning on working until my due date/labor, whichever comes first.. Though to be honest with such a physical job it's already starting to get hard. I have difficulty bending/squatting, lifting, twisting and have been having leg/back pain. So I may have to adjust my plan if I'm physically unable to continue. My husband and I have been diligently saving since finding out we were expecting since I get no company provided maternity pay and I will be taking the full 12 weeks off via FMLA. I will get 50% of my pay for 6 weeks through my short term disability policy.

Maternity leave will start the day baby is born or August 28 which ever comes first. He is due August 18 so we’ll see. Luckily school year ends June 29 so I’m off for the summer anyway and I live in Canada so I will have the year paid (partially anyway) until I go back in August 2019. I am so looking forward to being home with just one kiddo for a year!!

We get 16 weeks total paid maternity leave. 4-6 wks before and 10-12 weeks after. I added a couple of weeks holiday after. So Total about almost 5 months

I start working from home at the start of my 28th week... then I'll go on maternity leave when I go into labor
