Flagyl??? Help!!!

I went to Urgent Care the other day thinking I had a yeast infection but they took a culture and ran a lab, said I had a little bacteria and prescribed me the antibiotic Flagyl. I asked if it was safe because I’m almost 8 weeks pregnant and they said it would probably be okay but to call my OB if I was unsure. So I called them but they wouldn’t give me any info since I haven’t been to a first appointment yet!!! 😭 they said it would be a liability to give me any information but that I’d probably be okay. Wtf. I’ve heard okay things about Flagyl and I’ve heard awful things about Flagyl during pregnancy. I’m feel better down there, about 98% good, and the information that came with the prescription said to not take it while pregnant unless it is clearly necessary. What should I do???? My appointment is in about 2 weeks, should I just wait until then to take it? I’m so conflicted.
