Being induced

First I’d like to say, I don’t need anyone telling me not to pump. I’ve heard it all before!

I am getting induced next Friday due to high bp and I’m 38 weeks right now. I want to avoid getting induced at all costs as I think it will make me want the epidural more which I’m trying to avoid for personal reasons.

Anyways, I want to start pumping to see if it will save me from induction and I’m looking for success stories/advice on how long it took to go into labor after starting to pump and how long you pumped for. TIA!
