Is sex before marriage a sin?

Does everyone agree that sex (including masterbating) before marriage is a sin?

Not everyone agrees. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter what everyone thinks. What the bible says is what matters. And according to the bible it's a sin to have sex before marriage. Even masturbation. Any sexual act outside of marriage is wrong.

This is just my opinion and belief, so please everyone don't take it personally. Yes, I believe that sex before marriage is a sin and if ppl waited for marriage as the bible instructs us to do, the world would be far better off. We wouldn't see nearly as many children in foster care, children being raised in poverty by single mothers, or terminated pregnancies. Secondly masturbation, I do believe is a sin. That intimacy should be reserved for your spouse. Again, the bible is amazing in guiding us. Look at how many marriages are failing due to men becoming addicted to pornography, or women replacing the intimacy by masturbating. Again, this is simply what I believe and anyone can respectfully disagree with me.

Masturbation isn’t inherently a sin, but it 99.999% involves lust, which is sin. There’s an example of someone masturbating to their spouse because they’re horny and on a business trip and therefore need to channel sexual desire, but only special occasions like thigh MIGHT be okay. Otherwise, yes, sex outside of marriage is sinful. Inside of marriage, the only rule is kindness, otherwise do what you want.

It is. And I regret having had intercourse with my husband before we were married. However, although this did not expiate our sin, once we were engaged, we made a promise to God to refrain from all sexual activity including touching (except for kissing). We were celibate for almost two years and it definitely made us closer in other areas of our relationship.

God loves, but He judges. He wouldn’t be a just God if he didn’t. He only forgives if you follow the steps of salvation. After that, you have to pray for forgiveness. You can ALWAYS be forgiven.
