Breast pads at night?

FTM hoping to be able to breast feed when baby comes. I was looking at nursing nightwear and bras today. It looks as though nursing nightdresses and sleep bras have no pockets or support for breast pads if needed. Does this mean I'm going to have to sleep with a nursing bra on and my nursing pyjamas too??

You will leak in the beginning I can almost promise you that. Every woman does.. but yes you can sleep with a in padded nursing bra or tank, it’s actually more comfortable than sleeping without a bra at all when you’re nursing... they’re extra heavy.

i had to sleep with a nursing bra and nursing pads. otherwise id wake up with soaked sheets

I slept with a sleep nursing bra for the first several months until I regulated enough not to leak over night and just stuck disposable nursing pads in the bra

You may not leak. I leaked all the time with my 1st. If I didn’t wear pads and slept on my stomach I’d wake in a pool of milk!!! With my 2nd I had a great supply for him but not excessive so no leaking. We will see how this time goes. I just slept in a bra when I was leaking. They make night nursing bras or you can buy a bralette style. Just something that is easy to get access too.

I'm going to get a no lining bra and some thin Velcro and have a couple sets of "night breast pads" (all mije are resueable pads) for this reason. I thought about even attaching it to my nursing night gowns, but I've read wearing a bra makes it so much more comfy.

The pads I use have a sticky back and stay put. I wear nursing tanks to bed. I love them. You can get them for a reasonable price in amazon.

Just wear pajamas. I wear a tank top. You might not even leak and need pads. I’ve never worn them.
