Okay, so after posting on here numerous times..... I’m going to leave my husband. I’m not happy, haven’t been happy for a while and at this point it’s just not fair for either of us. My question to y’all is, how did you do it? I work full time so my money will now be MY money, but I have nothing saved up nor any furniture. I’m scared but so excited for the future. Time to take control of my life💪🏼

You can also get second hand furniture. Just please buy a new bed lol. Otherwise some gently used furniture and furniture cleaner will work until you save up for new stuff. :) I know many people who have done that and you'd never even know it was used.

Make sure you have separate bank accounts squared away, don’t be afraid to craigslist less expensive furniture and keep it in a storage unit for a few days until you’re ready to go. It took me three days and a uhaul to replace all the furniture my ex stole out of our two bed townhouse. I was able to keep it under $600 too. Everything was in great condition, so I’d totally recommend it if you’re willing to put in the work.
