Gideon Elijah Ocampo made his appearance at 5:25 this morning weighing 8 lbs 12 oz and measuring 22 inches!

**Labor Story**

We were scheduled for an induction at 6 this morning but baby boy had other plans! Labor started at 2 this morning and we tried to hold off until it was time to leave for the hospital but I didn't think I could make it. As we rushed to the ER (35 minute drive), I just knew I was going to have him in the truck. Every 2 minutes I felt like I was going to push him out. When we finally got there, they checked me and I was already 9cm! I was begging for an epidural or any kind of meds but of course it was too late. After my doctor arrived, they broke my water and I pushed for only about 10 to 15 minutes before he came! We are so blessed to finally have our boy with us now. He did give us quite a scare though. All praise goes to God for keeping his hand on us during this very stressful morning. Baby is doing great and I'm recovering very fast.
