Ovulating while on period??

I know this sounds stupid and some of y’all are probably going to tell me I am in fact stupid but hear me out.

Is it possible that I’m ovulating while on my period?

I’m currently on day 2 of my menstruation and just took a tampon out. While wrapping it in toilet paper I noticed the cervical mucus. It was clear, extremely sticky, and stretchy. That’s what cervical mucus is supposed to be like during ovulation right??

During other times of the month I don’t really have any discharge, and ovulation tests always come back negative.
