My Parents Need to Embarrass me

I don’t understand why they do it and it’s very frustrating so allow me to explain. Just about every time my sisters bring someone home or something my dad and stepmom have this need to embarrass me. I’m 16 and my older sisters are 20 and 24. My youngest sister is 4 so of course they aren’t gonna do it to her. But whenever they have brought someone home, I’m the only one being at home, so apparently that means they get to embarrass me in front of my sisters and their boyfriends. So this time, my eldest sister came home with her boyfriend who she had been with for I think about a year, I’d never met him but my parents had. Soon after meeting him they were all in the kitchen talking and things when I walked in. My sister asked me about school and so I was starting to talk to her about it when my stepmom and dad chimed in about my grades (which are actually very good except one C which used to be a D in Honors Algebra 2 which is a very very hard class being a sophomore and everything I’ve had on my plate this year) and also that I was late this morning for school. I get it you know whatever laugh it off but they just kinda continually were embarrassing me and stuff. They have done this kind of thing several times. I just need to vent to someone and get some thoughts. Maybe I’m being stupid and it’s not a big deal but for me this is a first impression and I don’t really think embarrassing people like that is all that funny. It seems a bit cruel and awkward. I don’t like it at all and makes me very uncomfortable considering I don’t even know this person really. If he were family then maybe but this is literally my first time meeting him. It honestly is just kinda hurtful and makes me feel really embarrassed and uncomfortable. 😣😣😣😣
