Unreasonable?

Question

Is it unfair, or unreasonable to only allow mine, and my boyfriends parents to come visit in the hospital? I really want that time for us to be able to bond with our baby(first for both of us) and I just feel like I won’t be the same if everyone is there bombarding us...opinions?

people can visit after y'all are home and settled in not everyone needs to be at the hospital we didnt have but few people come the first time and second time everyone came not doing that this time! it was awful to many people

We had our immediate family visit the hospital. Both sets of grandparents, our siblings and my niece and nephew. 
I must say, I found having everyone visit at the hospital was easier than having them visit at home. I just wanted to be left alone in my own space to work out the dynamics of our new family.

I think that’s reasonable. We haven’t decided yet what we’ll do. It could end up being no one but I’m not sure I could do that to our parents! 
It’s likely to be grandparents and siblings. My BIL probably won’t make it to the hospital (short stay of only 2 days) and will see us later due to where he lives, but my SIL still lives with her parents so I think it’d be unfair to exclude her.

Nope. We didn’t tell anyone we were even going to the hospital. Then we told family when and asked who we wanted to come visit to come up. Then we told friends a few days after we were home.
